We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our proposal for McGill College is the winner of the International Multidisciplinary Urban Design Competition to re-imagine Montreal’s iconic Avenue. Five teams were selected finalists and we are honoured that the jury chose our ambitious vision of a biodiverse urban forest to be realized Downtown!
“Et Sillon” is the product of a fantastic collaboration with civiliti and SNC-Lavalin, and was developed with the indispensiable contributions of our experts UDO Design for lighting design, Gilles Rivard from Lasalle | NHC inc., Kim Marineau from Biodiversité Conseil and EVOQ Architecture.
Located along Montreal’s most iconic commercial artery - Ste-Catherine Street - McGill College Avenue is a sloping canvas for public life which our proposal activates with an ephemeral stream, celebrating the city’s iconic topography from the Mount Royal to the St-Laurent River.
