Sickla ön 89:2
The missing piece
The development of Svindersberg will be an important part of the transformation of Nacka into a more urban structure, along with a new subway station that is connected to Stockholm city centre. The Sickla ön 89:2 property occupies a strategic position between this new development and the subway station and it will create an important link between Värmdövägen boulevard and Svindersberg´s new city structure.
We approached the assignment studying a variety of solutions and choosing an open block typology which allows for good sun conditions, a strong urban feeling along the street, and a more intimate and green feeling towards the hill.

The missing piece
The crucial position of the plot will help bring together the future developments of the area

The open block
The new intervention will contribute to completing the new urban fabric of the area
